About Suresh

I believe in the strength of our community to support every student, every day, in the most impactful way possible. With my education, experience, and steadfast dedication to community service, I will work tirelessly as your Trustee for Place 1.

Education:

  • Holds a Master’s degree from the College of Education at the University of North Texas (UNT), Denton.

Frisco Resident & Community Involvement:

  • A proud Frisco resident for 21 years, deeply passionate about students, education, and community service.

  • Actively served in leadership roles within various community organizations.

  • Dedicated volunteer for numerous Frisco initiatives and activities, striving to make a meaningful impact.

Professional Career:

  • Works as a Technical Lead at a major retail company.

  • Co-founder of Applauz Productions, an event management company.

Family & Connection to Frisco ISD:

  • Both children attend Frisco ISD schools.

  • Daughter: Class of 2024 graduate from Centennial High School.

  • Son: Currently a junior at Centennial High School.

Leadership & Community Service:

  • Board of Trustee for a non-profit organization.

  • Former President (2013) of the Telugu Association of North Texas (TANTEX).

  • Led student empowerment programs in mentorship, leadership skill development, charity events, and college readiness workshops.

Educational & Youth Initiatives:

  • Summer 2024: Played a key role in college workshops for middle and high school students at Richwoods Academy in collaboration with Career Quake, a student-led initiative from the Frisco ISD Incubator program.

Community Leadership Roles:

  • President of the Parkside Estates HOA Community Board.

  • Former committee member of the Frisco Indian Affairs Committee, an ad hoc initiative by Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney.

  • Helped organize community events, including "Chai with Cheney" and "Cricket with Cheney".

  • Organizing member for the Frisco Diwali Festival, as part of the Frisco Inclusion Committee, promoting cultural diversity and community engagement.

COVID-19 Community Support Initiative:

  • Spearheaded a pandemic relief effort through the Indian American Families Federation (IAFF), a non-profit organization.

  • Provided lunches and PPE gear to First Responders, Frisco ISD staff, Frisco Environmental Services teams, US Postal Workers, and Hospital workers.

  • Mobilized resources, volunteers, and partnerships to support those on the front lines.

  • Reinforced the importance of collaboration, compassion, and community-driven leadership.

  • Dedicated to bringing the same spirit of service and proactive leadership to the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees.

  • Committed to enhancing education, empowering students, and strengthening community engagement.
